Junior outdoor training begins on Good Friday 18th April

Reception and Year 1 - 5:45 - 6:30. (starts Friday 25th April)

Year 2 - 6:45 - 7:30. (starts Friday 25th April)

u9s, u11s and u13s 6 - 7:30pm.

u15s and u17s train on Tuesday's and/or Thursday's 6:30 - 8pm - TBC.

2025 membership fees and online registration will open soon.

All memberships are to be paid by no later than Saturday 31st May 2025.

This year u9 - u17s membership fees will include black branded Honley CC trousers.

Our History

Our club is renowned throughout Yorkshire and listed in the 'Rothmans Book of Village Cricket' and Jonathan Rice's 'The Pavilion book of Pavilions'.

The freehold title to the Cricket Ground was acquired in 1928 and is held in trust forever as a sporting venue for you, the people of Honley. The Cricket Club has been on site since 1878 and has enjoyed an illustrious history both on and off the field.

It hosted a Geoff Boycott benefit match in 1969 and in 2005 the First XI won the Huddersfield League Title for the first time. However they didn’t stop there winning it again in 2006, 2007 and 2008 to create history in becoming the first club ever to win four consecutive League Titles.

They also won the Title in 2010 and 2011 along with the Sykes Cup in 2005 and 2006 and the much coveted Black Sheep Yorkshire Champions Trophy in 2008. These on field achievements make Honley CC one of the most successful Clubs in the League's history. We have been a member of the Drakes Huddersfield Cricket League from 1894-1915 and since 1920 to present day. The Club also boasts a thriving Junior section where our local youngsters learn their craft from qualified coaches.
